#350 Entiat Decker
Saddle is shown single rigged (double rigging available) with the ‘C’ tree (combination arches) but the purchaser has the option of choosing from the 3 arch styles in the pictures at no extra cost. Trees are built by Dale Pack Station. Leather is Hermann Oak russet harness leather. Breast strap is contoured and 2-ply. Breeching is inverted (smooth side inward) with an added back band. Breeching and breast strap are sewn curved to prevent inside wrinkling. Rigging straps are 2-ply and stitched. ALL STRAPPING ON THIS SADDLE IS 1 1/4” WIDE. Spider is 4” X 12” and 2-ply. Side boards are red oak. All leather straps and parts are either machine or hand edged to a smooth rounded finish. Hardware is nickel and chrome plated. Complete with a leather bound, stuffed, 3-layer half breed and an attached quarter breed of 33 oz. heavy canvas duck. Cincha is 21 strand with crow’s foot rings.
AVAILABLE OPTIONS INCLUDE: double rigging with double pack cincha. Saddle is approximately 41 pounds. Fits horses and mules 850 to 1,400 pounds. PLEASE NOTE: this saddle is very heavy duty and beyond the normal use of the recreational packer. It is designed and built for heavy duty sustained use by those in the need.
